Just got back from the Mother Earth News Fair held at the Seven Springs Resort in Seven Springs, PA. The Event has been continually expanding. We were showing some of our new attachments for compact tractors. We showed our new Clamp-on Snow blade, our clamp on forks and our Log Hitch/ Receiver hitch for small tractors. The show was very interesting and caters to people that may have small acreages, want to live as self reliant as possible by using solar energy, wood heat and natural products. It is a great venue. We also displayed the new line of Metallo cutting tools like pruners, loppers, saws, axes and knives. There was a good interest in all the products we took and we gave out a complete case of brochures on the Metallo line of tools. They will have a new show in Ashville, NC in the spring and we believe we will exhibit there too. Winter is just around the corner. While we were at the show one local attendee came up and was talking about our snow blades and mentioned that the oak trees are loaded this year with acorns. This is an old time indicator for many that it will be a hard winter. We also discussed the color of the woolly worms and they are brown and black this year. People believe that the darker the woolly worm the harder the winter. Well we must get back and increase production if all the old time indicators are true. Enjoy the fall.
